After reading the review below me, I had to chime in.. I have bought this stand 3 times as gifts for friends and relatives. This stand is most definitely made of metal, not plastic. I use it to hold all of my necklaces, bracelets and ankle bracelets.. I even hang my long necklaces on it as well. I've searched and searched for something as nice as this stand and am thrilled to have finally found it. My message to Gloria P. White below... "give it away.. someone will absolutely love it if you don't!"

i love it, i had been looking for one of these for quite awhile, but every one
i found was expensive... i was so psyched to see that amazon was offering
it, and at such a good price... i bought 3 different ones, the necklace holder,
bracelet holder, and earing holder... i'm very happy with my purchase !!!

Arrived on time. I had it sent to my aunt as a gift. She loved it. Said it was sturdy and exactly what she was looking for.. I thought it was very cleaver to make it in the shape of a harp for a necklace holder since putting necklaces on would look like it had strings...

Arrived in good condition. Item is metal. Sturdy, decorative, and holds about 10 necklaces on each side. Very handy.
