This is a great little item I purchased for my husband who just loves penguins. Unfortunately, he washed it in the dishwasher before using it... while the packaging says it is dishwasher safe, the tray warped and now only produces a handful of cubes instead of all 12. Some dishwashers/settings are still safe - just read the fine print before placing this product in yours for cleaning. I purchased a second tray to replace the first - our penguin ice cubes are a great touch when entertaining and serving cocktails :)
Very Cute January 9, 2008
This is very cute. I bought it for my boys, age 6 and 10, as they love penquins. They fill the tray everyday and love munching on their penguin ice cubes. This is flexible so it doesn't break. It's wonderful for them and lots of fun!

I purchased these trays for a 'penguin' collector. I'm sure she'll enjoy entertaining with them. Well made; reasonably priced.

A silicone ice tray is very flexible which means the ice penguins come out of the tray easily. The ice forms quicker than regular trays. The only draw back is that the ice shapes are somewhat small.
