These were the best deal ever, period. I finally got myself the ultimate pair if sapphire studs after over 2 years of searching all over!
I did all my homework and shopped everywhere. I even had to return two different pairs I have purchased online somewhere else before placing my order for this fantastic set I have found on amazon.
1. Genuine sapphire studs 1 carats each, are pretty large and IMPOSSIBLE to find, specially if you are looking for sapphires that are actually blue and not black.
If you happen to find a pair in an upscale jewelry store, you will get charged a fortune. ( I found one pair on sale from $1399 to $999, and it was well below 2 carats!)
2. If you are lucky enough to find what you are looking for, you have to get yourself screwbacks, even if you have to pay for a new setting. Sapphires of this size you really don't want to loose, screwbacks are the only way to go.
3. So far all I have found that was actually this large, was really dark, almost black. If the color was ok, you would see inclusions all over.
Not my babies! I could not believe the quality! The color is perfect, an elegant classic dark blue, with life, brilliancy and NO INCLUSIONS! The size is perfect, one carat in each ear is very rare, you can wear them every day with denim or get dressed up at night and put them on as well. My babies get noticed and I get many compliments on them. The screwbacks are just perfect, safe and solid. I like the sapphires so much that I would have kept them anyway if they had regular backs, and paid to have the backs replaced by a jeweler as I have done with my smaller diamond studs.
For the rest of my shopping experience, the free shipping was fast, customer service very knowledgeable, professional and patience (as you can imagine I asked a million questions before placing the order!)
The gift packaging was elegant and rich and the warrantee card with the certificate of authenticity was a great plus.
I have not taken my earrings off at all this past week. Thank you and I will shop soon for the matching pendant. Thank You!

Well, this Valentine's I took no chances and actually told him to get me sapphire studs.
I still took a chance by letting him pick them himself since the gift still had to come from him. WOW! I was really impressed as he did GREAT! He surprised me with this FABULOUS pair a week before Valentines Day and this is much better than anything I had in mind, and I shopped around! First of all the size is just larger than ANY sapphire studs I have seen in retail stores in my area, and forget the mall, all they had was really tiny sapphires, and so dark to be almost black. My studs are BLUE! And CLEAN, and HUGE! The screw backs are a very nice addition as I have lost a few earrings in the past, and now I feel relaxed knowing that tese studs will never come off by accident. The gift came in a very nice velvet pouch and blue box with a white bow on it....and it has a lifetime warrantee card and a certificate of authenticity with it.
So I had to be nosy and check out our Amazon account and see how much he paid for it...I know... Bad Wife! But I really wanted to make sure he didn't overspend.
I have shopped around and I had a pretty good idea what studs like these should cost.
I think the list price of $699 is actually conservative, since I've seen smaller pairs for more and they had no screw backs. I actually have never seen a pair this large in stores regardless of price. My hubby got me this pair for $359, much less than what I expected him to pay. Wow! Shopping online really pays! And that's why I'm writing this review. I myself would have NEVER have purchased Jewelry online. I am conservative and cautious, and I would have missed out on this deal thinking it was too good to be true. So I'm writing this review to help shoppers like myself. If you are shopping for sapphire studs and are uncomfortable shopping online for jewelry, try this pair. Take a chance, shop online and you will really be surprised with the deals you can get!

These earrings were perfect for me. I wanted earrings that were not too large and not too small, that I could wear while sleeping, showering, working-out and traveling. I have never had a pair of screw back earrings before and now I don't think I will ever buy any other type. No more backs popping off when I am towel-drying my hair. I think that anyone considering these earrings would be pleased with them.

I was a little nervous about buying jewelery online, but this experience was great! Ordered after hours on 2/12, had the shipping expedited, and got it by Valentine's Day!
The product came in a nice little box with a white ribbon, inside a blue "velvet" pouch. Exactly as advertised, they look perfect!
The only downside was that they didn't provide the UPS tracking number, but I really didn't need it, because the item arrived super-fast.

I got these great earrings to match a ring I got from the same vendor last week. First of all the size is perfect. It's really rare to find nice, large matching round sapphires at a decent price. Smaller sets are easy to get, but one carat each with screw backs are really hard to find, especially good quality. It's a classic Tiffany look, very elegant and simple. The Sapphires are the perfect color, not too light or too dark, very clean and clear of inclusions, and brilliant.
I've seen this size and quality sapphire studs in the thousand dollars price point or more, so the original list price stated online is not over inflated as it often happens. The positive reviews on the merchant convinced me on taking the chance and placing the order and I am very happy I did. I also have purchased a matching ring, and I am very happy with it too. The earrings were elegantly packaged and I was impressed with the lifetime warrantee card and the speed of delivery. Thank You.
