The 8 mm round stones are featured beneath slender curved wires, and the earrings are finished with comfortable and secure leverback closures. The matching 12 mm roundstone solitaire pendant features a faceted round of green amethyst, held in a four-prong setting beneath a polished silver bale. The pendant is suspended from an 18-inch sterling silver cable chain. Rhodium plating on the sterling silver gives both the pendant and the earrings a beautiful rich shine, and the subtle colors of the gemstones are versatile and distintive. Minimum weight for the set is 8.5 carats.

This green amethyst set is gorgeous. The stones are a lot lighter in color than they are pictured. The actual color is a very pale, icy, green- almost like clear with a hint of green in it. I too was familiar with what green amethyst looks like and the color is exactly what it should be for that but it does not look like the picture. Do yourself a favor and look up green amethyst in a computer search and see what the stone looks like before buying. The stones were amazingly huge and the settings are very nice as well. Rhodium plating on sterling is hard to find but it prevents tarnish.
I got this for a gift but am so tempted to keep it! I rarely rate anything 5 stars but this set is gorgeous, and a wonderful value for the price...

I was really impressed when I received this set, the stones were definitely larger than I thought, the green very nice and clear. I love the lever-back earrings too. I guess the fact that the sterling silver is rhodium-covered gives it a very nice luster... You can't say it's silver, it looks like white gold! The chain is very thin, but I think it works with the set. I'm overall very happy with my buy.

Nothing makes me happier than a great value! I purchased this set on a special for only $39.99. The pendant was very pretty, large enough to wear alone, and it sparkled. In fact, it was large enough to give it a new, heavier chain. The earrings also had stones that were quite large. Unfortunately, I have thin earlobes so the stones swung downward and faced the floor. This was good fortune for one of my dear friends. I gave her the earrings, and they look beautiful and sparkly on her.
The pendant alone, I am sure, was worth more that $40.00, and I was happy to be able to give my friend a lovely gift.

I just received the set of pendant and earrings. The green is gorgeous. For the woman who was looking for inclusions in the prasiolite, there is next to none because this is a heat treated amethyst. The set is more than worth the $29.00 I paid for it. I'm not even a lover of green, I prefer the deep African Amethyst but since this stone is available in alot of places, I had to pick it up. I am a gem fanatic and do alot of beading.
